I wonder if they would do a special order build on a 30' Intl w/twins?

Also, I don't understand why the light bezel corrosion issue isn't addressed with all models. Big opportunity missed there if indeed that is a good solution to a broad problem.

Will the new CL bumper be the same as what's on the FCs and INTLs?

Thanks for posting this interesting info. Two questions: 1) is the new "Green" insulation any more effective than the previous insulation?, and 2) what were the production numbers for the discontinued 23' CNB?

Here is some information on the new insulation EcoBatt - Insulation bonded with nature

The recent 23C was first built in 2006 as a Safari base with either a both dinette or sofa option. This mid year production unit had approximately 20 orders. For 2007 Airstream offered this floor plan with the optional SE "Special Edition" package and a front Lounge option. Production numbers were high at roughly 65. 2008 was the last year offered as a Safari of Safari SE with slightly less units built, the booth dinette floor plan was dropped. 2009-2012 this floor plan was introduced as a Flying Cloud (Safari SE replacement) with 25 or so units made a year and towards the end even less.

Thanks for the summary. My wife and I purchased a new 2013 and plan on taking delivery this week. It's an International Signature 23d' and it appears from the message that a number of new options should be expected with this unit. I'm glad we waited and took the 2013...although I'm sure the 2011-2012 are just as nice. I'll provide an update when we receive.

The 2012 Flying Cloud would not have these updates.

Woo-hoo! I got one of 65 (and found it only 70 miles away from me)! Thanks for these numbers; I find them fascinating.

I'm guessing that production numbers for a 25FB typically run around 300-400 a year.

the 2003-2006 CCD models had the matt tropical oak (black) laminate interior. The 2007-2012 Signature models had the matt Wenge (dark brown) laminate. The 2013 Signature models will have the hi gloss Ebony Laminate.

Patrick - gonna do a "Cassandra" here - (Prophetess of doom). That Arctic Dijon color scheme - silver and baby-poop/mustard combo - don't stock up on a lot of those! The Purple? PURPLE floor? If I had a gun pointed at my head and had to choose one or the other, I believe I'd go for the purple, and start buying carpet remnants like nobodie's business!

I think Airstream just designed something that's a bigger loser than the Basecamp!

OTOH, either the Eddie Bauer 27 or the 30 Serenety with Recliners - that I'm saving up for.
