It surprises me how some floorplans get built in seemingly every trim level, yet some decidedly don't. I'd like a Flying Cloud 23D or a Serenity 20' - but nope. (Of course, with 50 models, you need to control it somewhere...)

Coincidence. I'll be there at the same time - will spend the weekend in Dayton at the Hamvention and then up to Jackson Center on the 22nd for a few days.

I see in the latest Eddie Bauer catalog a pic of the 25'FB Eddie Bauer Edition, which is a toy-hauler with a rear hatch-back and loading ramp. A pic of it from Colonial Airstream's website shows a couple big motorcycles parked in there- has the frame been beefed up in this model to avoid the dreaded rear-end sag? Neat idea though, very classy looking.

The model you are referring to is the Airstream Panamerica 34' built from 2009-2010.

This must be the one with the motorcycles loaded into it, which I confused with the 2012 Eddie Bauer Limited Edition model which also has the rear hatchback for over-size gear such as kayaks and bicycles, but presumably not big motorcycles. What is the maximum weight for this over-sized gear that Airstream recommends?

Hi There, I bought my Eddie Bauer 3 months ago. The cargo weight is approx. 1250

I would not recommend putting a giant Harley in there, I have an 800 Suzuki and it fits well. My bike weighs around 450. I actually had my bike in there at the Airstream plant when I went on the tour. The tie downs are anchored to the main frame (according to tech guy that visited my trailer at airstream. You also need 9 foot ramps to get a bike in, take off windshield and duck as you drive in and out! A tad crazy, but works for me. 2 bikes wouldn't fit well unless they were small dirt bikes.

Thanks, Carol- I looked at your pics and was wondering which was scarier, getting the bike up the ramp or down it? Nice looking bike and AS!
