Excella Plastic Paint

Hi all. Just bough my first Airstream. We're remodeling, and want to paint the interior. Is there a paint product that adheres well to the plastic used for the front wall section? Has anyone removed those plastic wall sections on favor of another product when remodeling?

Thanks,

Bob

I would try Krylon plastic paint. I have heard that it does a good job on the fiberglass stuff in the bathroom.

Krylon Fusion, paint for plastics has worked very well for me. I know it is available in spray cans, possibly in brush on?

I have used both the spray and brush able. I have been in touch with Krylon and I am sorry to say that they are no longer marketing the brush able. That being said, I have used the brush able on a shower wall after the vinyl peeled off and the spray on a new ABS propane tank cover lid. Both are holding up very well after 2 and 3 years. The best part is no priming or sanding needed.

Thanks. I've used the Krylon spray on plastic car top carriers. It works well on some plastics, won't stick to others. I've taken the rear plastic piece off in the back, will experiment on the back side. I appreciate your helpful responses.
