Well today I made good progress. I got all the old tiles up today through out the entire trailer. Yay! I got the new carpet laid, got all the water inlet lines hooked up and checked for leaks, all the bedroom and end tables are now in place. We now have a bedroom with solid floors! I tried to get a pic but it didn't turn out to great, done the best I could. Tomorrow ill start laying our new flooring. Mrs. S gave it her approval. She had a huge smile.
I should have started laying the floor today but it was such a great day here in far east Texas I just couldn't resist giving a little attention to another toy of mine.

Dang! That is a whole lot of progress! Great work, as always. It was a nice day here in central Texas as well. Looks like a fun scooter. When do you get the new truck?

Yea I hit it pretty hard today, started at 0400 hrs, trying to make up for lost time. I called and asked about my new truck today, they said it should arrive on Thursday but worst case Saturday. (Its bad when a dealership tells you there waiting to get all the trucks on the trasnport they can do to high gas prices.) Im hoping for Thursday, you never realize how much you need a truck until you dont have one.

I also called about my rims for the AS. They havent even shipped them yet said they would ship them ASAP...Sounds like someone dropped the ball over in Cali!

Well I haven't done anything to the AS since my last post of the bedroom. I've been sick and at the same time trying to help my sister with her wedding. Mrs S was a huge help saving the wedding it was almost a disaster. But now I'm better and we got my sister and her new husband off and married. So today I can get back in the AS mode.
O by the way I went and picked this up on Saturday.

Wow! Nice purchase! You could tow six Streams with that beast!

Hope you're feeling better and can get some work done soon.

Thanks...

Thanks for the comment on the truck guys! Mrs. S and myself are really enjoying it. We were concerned with our other truck being up for the job of being our TV. But with our new Dodge there is no concern what so ever. Like Top said, it would be up for towing six AS's at once.....to bad I dont own that many.

Progress has been really slow. I was all geared up to get some work done today but due to a dentist appointment I was put down early today.

Only thing I really got done today was getting my new rims and tires mounted and balanced.

I pulled off one tire on the AS to test fit one rim to ensure it had the correct bolt pattern. Looks like the bearings have been recently packed, I remeber the PO saying they had been but tomorrow Ill pull everything down and take a better look. I got a good mind to pull out my sand blaster and hit the frame some and add some POR to the frame.

I really hope to get things in gear tomorrow, I really need to make some progress.

Looks good JS! Nice wheel and tire combo. Anything you do now will save you, or someone like you, in the future. I'd replace the shocks while you have everything apart. OODM sells the OE Gabriel shocks. You may also want to try the Monroe RV shocks 555003. People will tell you that only the Airstream shocks are correct and a bunch of other things. It's up to you. The price is about the same.

Oops Forgot

I forgot to mention that while I was waiting on the POR to dry I got the Carpet in the front and the Couch back in the trailer. Things really moved along smoothly today.
