1993 Excella 1000
I now have a pristine condition Excella 1000 - 34 feet long, and beautiful. If it had not been for the advice and suggestions on this board, I would not have gotten it.. Thank you all.

must have been stored indoors, the clearcoat looks great.

I love it!
If I ever decide to get a different coach, that is the one I would want. 31' is nice, 34' would be better. Sounds like a great deal!!

I agree with all of the posts. I've always wanted a 34 footer, they are so nice! You have a nice coach there Theo!

Thank you, guys. I fell in love with it the moment I set eyes on it. It just looks..... WOW. There are no flakes, no little stars or any rough bits on the clear coat - no grime in any seams, no noticeable dings, nothing bent, nothing really scratched, exept where the center awning support swing against the side some. A little ding in the corner of the rock guard, and that is it. The awnings are also WOW. the rear one had a few dead ladybugs in it, but no marks.. All of them work well, and the door clunks shut like it should. I get the tags on Monday, then I bring her home - though the length precludes her ever getting onto my 6 acres - there is a ridge immediately in the drive way, about 9 feet tall, and a very tight turn in from the road - no sidewalks, just a big ditch my side and a bank the other side, so I can't get her in..  BUT, there is a Good Sam RV park not far away, I will go try out everything for a week.. Camping in my own town sounds like a plan..

I did that a couple of years ago, and made it far better than it was - most things could get in, but the ridge is rock so it stays. I could have maybe aimed it differently, but hindsight is always the one to go for..
I am going full time very soon - a matter of weeks, so the house is for sale. No point in paying thousands of dollars to rearange a driveway I am selling.. But it is a shame I can't get my trailer home though.

It took nearly a year to manage to sell the house...... And again, I am off, in a short while, to go live in my still Amazing Airstream..

Until my new Camera arrives, this is the best picture I have.
The main attraction is the 200,000 mile 4 year warranty on the engine, and the unlimited mileage 2 years on everything else. I may remove the flatbed at a later date, and put a custom bed on there.. It is my intention to get one of the Airstream shaped Airstream 5th wheels, whenever I find one, and this truck will be ideal for towing it..

That is a beautiful 34'. I bought a very nice 1976 31' Sovereign not that long ago with the help of a forum member. Now ownership has really given me Airstream fever and we're looking at new 34' Classics. Room to streatch out , a queen bed and dinette. When the interior is out of style just remodel and it's like new again.Looks like you found an exceptionally nice 34' Airstream. The PO must have really taken good care of it. Good luck going full time and can't wait to see some photos with that new camera.

I am going to really enjoy this next trip out. We intend to be out for as long as the money lasts, then back to base to recoup, then out again. Kind of part fulltiming. I am really enjoying this camera, and will be posting plenty of pictures, both here, and on my webshot account. I need to resize anything I take though - the smallest is 1520 x 1280 or something like that - the largest is 2008 x 3008 which is HUGE.
Jack - the difference between the 31 and the 34 is more than you would think.. We visited a lot of Airstreams last year, around the country, and the one comment we got from others was the amount of room in our trailer, compared to theirs. Ours is not the widebody, but it still has more than enough room for us - even with two or three guests on board.

Pulling with a Cadillac
Have you ever heard of anyone that is pulling these with a Front wheel Cadillac Deville? I have a 97 and was wondering if it was possible or being done?
