Two Batteries in 16CCD?

I boondock a good bit and I want to have two batteries in my 16CCD.

I have seen posts about a large battery (equal to 2 1/2 Group 24s) being mounted where the stock Group 24 currently sits. Looks slick - but that's a heavy battery - way more than I can move / oick up.

So I was wondering about going to two Group 24s - keeping one at the current location and a second somewhere else in the trailer? I would switch to AGMs - so no problems mounting one of them inside the trailer.

Has anyone done this?

I have thought about moving the water pump a little and putting the second in there - but I'm worried about another 53 pounds on that side of the trailer. I have also thought about under the bed - but that's hard to get to - and there would be alot of distance between the two batteries.

All thoughts welcome - many thanks!
