Just curious if anyone else has installed a doorbell on their A/S? I found a wireless doorbell at a local hardware store (ACE Hardware) and thought it was too cool to pass up. The button attaches somewhere on the outside, of course, with two-sided tape and the chime can go anywhere on the inside that you can think to hide it. The button uses one 'AA' or 'AAA' battery (can't remember which) and the chime uses two 'C' batteries (if memory serves correctly). So, the whole thing is wireless and installs in just a couple of minutes.

Not quite like "The Long,Long Trailer" since you gotta push the button to make it chime, but still cool, I think.

My 1984 Motorhome comes from the factory with a doorbell.

I developed my own wireless doorbell, I take a real deep breath and yell
"would you rather have a mansion full of money or a trailer full of love?"

My '81 MH comes with one too. I've had experiences with those wireless ones though in my office. Must replace batts too often, so I decided to do the lung thing too. Maybe now they're better, This was 1997.

My '81 and '88 have a factory doorbell...sounds like the "AVON CALLING" doorbell in the commercial.

Do I really need a doorbell in a 19' trailer? I don't think so....

Mine came with a doorbell and while I know were the button is by the door I do not know where the doorbell itself is or is supposed to be, anyone know where it is on a 79 24' motorhome?

On most of the MH's that had one, it was mounted under the couch on the outer wall. You may need to look inside a compartment door, if you have a door there, to find it.

It looks just like a normal home door bell mounted to the wall.
