curtain removal

it is time to remove and dry clean my curtains but not sure how they come off the curtain rod. must be an easier way than unscrewing the curtain rods from the wall.

i could probably place this in any model year but will stick with the bambi forum.

thanks,

david

Hello...if it's like mine you can just unscrew the end caps on the top and bottom of one end and slide them off. Hope this helps.

Be sure when you take each one down to mark some way to remember where they go. I did'nt do that and they were a bugger to get back the right way.

Question end pieces

Does anyone know where I can get the end pieces for the curtain rods.. Duct tape was the PO solution and I would not like to look like the Trailer Park boys... lol.. Annie

Annie,
Of all the Airstreams I have bought and sold, the common denominator on them would be that when an end cap is lost or broken, a very small sheet metal screw is installed into the slider slot, and that's all it takes to keep them secure!
