I went to camping world and saw a great set up with a sponge attached to an ajustable pole. I was a little worried about washing the top of the airstream with soap while being on the top of it at the same time, slipping and falling off.
I'd really recommend NOT getting on the roof. You need at least a good ladder (I use a scafold) to attempt a roof climb.
Just use the pole and brush from the ladder.
When I AM on the roof, I have some 2' X 4' X 1/2" plywood panels I use to distribute the load, and even then I take care only to put weight down directly on top of the ribs.
