Inside?

Hi all, after looking at the photos, I remembered that I saw a drawing of such a "Bambi" in an architecture magazine. It had a short story on the Bambi designed by Mr. CCD. Here's what the drawings showed - Modern Bambi with dual wrap windows. Dinette in front, turns into "double". From curbside entry, a short (?maybe 2ft long?) cabinet (probably where the furnace is, followed by a small bathroom area. Interesting thing - the bathroom rear bulkhead was not side / side, but a front to back bulkhead encompasing the rear quarter window! My guess is the toilet is right under the quarter window, with a wet shower combo ala CCD. This is not so strange with the rear window, as my toilet is right under the rear window of our TT. The rear center-window, roadside quarter is part of the kitchen. As you enter the trailer, the kitchen is a L wrap from in fron to around the rear. Sink is next to the dinette, cooktop over the wheels (hot water here probably), and fridge in the rear. The idea of the trailer is for "active people, looking for some shelter from sports, i.e. surfing, biking etc." I didn't get the idea that it was made for more that two, or for real extended stays. I thought it looked pretty cool in my opinion. Incidently, it did mention a "hammock" that was suspended from the ceiling for one more person to sleep or "stash gear." It was to be held in place with aircraft cable. I don't see it mentioned on the A/S site however? I do know it took forever to post the CCD (22')on the A/S site in 2002.
Marc

16 ccd(International

The 16' ccd has a bed across the rear of the trailer with a dinette across the front. It does not have a wet bath but hook-ups for exterior shower. It has alot of room for a 16' trailer.

Lynn is correct

A little birdie in the A/S world confirmed privately that I had correctly guessed the interior layout and it is just as Lynn says, bed across the rear and a mid-bath with no shower.

The photos show that the layout can not be as 3Ms75Argosy claims since the galley is clearly roadside, across from the door.

Christopher Deam has done a number of interior concepts before (and probably since) the 22' AS and CCD came out and they have appeared in various publications. 3Ms75Argosy's description is pretty close to what became the production International AS; the rear wraparound changed to two more practical opening windows.

BTW: Some of the electrical schematics in my manual are titled "22' Bambi", so we know there was some confusion over the naming of the new line.

28 footer

That 28 footer would be a real jewel, but I wish it had the AS interior decor instead of the CCD interior decor. IMHO, 28' of CCD decor would be truly overpowering.

I love the 28' floor layout, though.

Couch option

Notice the couch option in the 22' AS floorplan that hairstream published above. About 2 months from now, that will be the floor layout of my International AS. I have started gathering material to convert my dinette to a couch. I will have a folding table suspended from the bedroom partition in mine.

This is the first time I have seen the couch option "on paper" so to speak.

Sign me up for that 28 ft. CCD! Wow! Anyone heard of any plans to produce it in the near future? Any idea of the floor plan?

Sorry about that hairstream, but now if I squint just right, I think I can see something about the 28 ft. CCD in the graphic you posted....can I find the hi rez version somewhere on the net?
Thanks

Thanks
