Streamers! I am a newbie to the Forum but a 10+ Owner of a 1999 Safari. My configuration (using towing vehicle references) is Living Room Front, Bedroom Rear, Kitchen Passenger Side and Bath on Drivers Side.
Recently, several
12 volt lights stopped working, no 12 available at sockets. Since AS in their wisdom have failed to offer a diagram showing wire routing throughout the trailer, it is very difficult to know where to start. There are no blown fuses in the DC fuse block.
Specific lights are out including the Living Room overhead, the exterior under door light as well as the bathroom. Additionally, the CO2 monitor didn't have power.
The living room wall switch, next to the door was the easiest to access and its proximity to the CO2 analyzer made it the choice for investigation, since I didn't want to start cutting into the interior "fuzzy" insulation.
I discovered there was a wire back into the insulation that looked as if it had melted open. There were burn marks on the insulation and the wire had separated. I am afraid to reconnect this cable for fear of causing more damage.
I need a diagram of the
12V system that shows wire routing so I don't have to start removing the interior of the trailer. I have search everywhere on the internet and cannot find such a diagram. HELP.
Please feel free to email me direct if you have any suggestions. Thanks
