Cool I think I got a bad case of aluminum fever

Lisa and I have bought a 1966 airstream safari, and plan to make her a jewel of the highway, I will be posting pictures of her progress and trips we take in her, and am just loving the process of discovering all the hidden secrets that are revealed as I work, clean and rebuild her. Her Name is Bute, by the licence plate: UTE so its Bute.
I have just ordered a bunch of stuff from Inland R.V so I hope they are fair to deal with.
I have cleaned her out, and fixed her 12volt systems so far, I even got the univolt working! and plan to take on the plumbing and gas systems next.
I am looking forward to hearing from anyone who wishes to comment, add their helping hand, or ridicule our foolishness.:banging:
thanks in advance for your warm community welcome.
Michael, and Lisa

Fun times ahead!
I finished my 68 globetrotter and if you have questions please ask. Especially on materials. Good luck and take it slow. Vintage all the way!

Bute is a beaut! She looks in good shape for her age with much of the original construction remaining.

Thanks Jim, it's amazing. How much can be fixed and rebuilt in a airstream. No leaks!

Easy to catch the fever when you find a 66 Safari. I have a 66 Tradewind and just love it. I have made some improvements to mine and have more planned. Here you go:

Go luck on your restoration. I look forward to following your progress.
