Gel coat Bath lavatory and tub, first time I've done this, not as hard as it seems, first I got an estimate of $1100 for just the labor, then I spent $39 for cheap gun and $85 for supplies

Test fit, tub and Diane's plastic pieces

We will have to wait about a week to be able to polish the tub, rain has slowed us down, allowing time for this update. I want to let gelcoat cure fully before finish sanding and polish

Dennis, the Blanco Rally has been our target, we have a reservation already

Plumb new shower fixture and complete installation of tub, had to be a little creative finding and installing plumbing. Fixture was sourced from a vintage claw foot tub supplier and washing machine connections used to connect to braided hoses

Install FRP clad wall next to shower, glued FRP panel to eighth inch plywood to make a quarter inch panel that would fit in aluminum channel.

Design and install shower curtain rod, made from flat aluminum stock and aluminum angle cut into small pieces

Install lavatory and duplicate medicine cabinet doors without the plastic hinges

Showing a few more details on lavatory, we later changed out hinges shown, Diane was not going for this style.

Install new china toilet along with new wood door for hamper, we purchased a “tall” toilet for comfort and found a need to modify area where it fits, looked OK.

Build new linen closet, with access to new 6 gal hot water heater, wood cutter ( can’t call me a carpenter) and finish specialist shown. Our first cabinet turns out pretty good.

New 120V / 12V distribution panel, this was not fun, combing out all the wiring serving everything in the trailer, but it is done.

Redo door, we laminated a sheet of quarter inch plywood to door, since the original finish could not be redone. New plywood finishes much better.

Built new street side closet with shelf and reused existing mirror

New closet door build and edge detail, used three quarter inch plywood and routed edges to come up with the original step shape on edges and Diana found a painted edge color that matched well with stain. The painted edge is what was originally done on our Airstream and I did not want to attempt to install edge binding on the step detail edge.

Reused cabinet fronts with some modifications, installed three quarter inch stiffener to hold up 50 lb microwave.
