Axle.

Does anyone know what axle was put under a 1967 Safari. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Most likely a Henchen. The replacement is a Dexter, I purchased my replacement axles from Colin Hyde.

Henschen Dura Torque axels originally. That company no longer makes axles, but replacements are still available from Dexter and Axis. Though, someone has to provide exact measurements. Each axle is made to order.

Dexter Sticker

Here's a pic of our new axle.
Also a pic of the Harbor Freight floor jack with 2 extension arms that I used to remove the old and set the new one in place. I temporarily U-bolted the 1x4 as a lever to get the bolt holes lined up. Had to drill one new hole each side.
