Hi rex don`t trust that shut off for the heater. Cap the line until you install the heater or don`t use the proane system until then.
Wouldn`t the bunny be the stainless steel cleaner. Kidding of course.
Keep up the great work. i enjoy watching your interior come back together while I poilsh my shell.

I will be back at The Home Depot tomorrow... I'll pick-up a cap for the propane then.

My next task is to get the kitchen sink plumbing installed, before we leave for Feather Falls Casino on Sat. Porno Bob said that he would come by tomorrow to finish the plumbing. I hope to have most of it done before he gets off work. Nice to a have a real plumber check my work. Hopefully he will have a beer and look under the sink and say "Nice Work T."

So Chris, how much snow do you have there in the Great White North?
It rainned here today, but we are still in a false spring weather pattern. Mid 60's tomorrow.... Love this time of the year in the greater Shasta Lake area, the summer's here are toooo hot.

The Bunny and I are ready to twist and shout at Feather Falls for the Superbowl! Looks like the fridge, oven, TV, and Queen Island bed will be working and usable for the Superbowl.

More photos from today, P. Bob stopped by and did an inspection of the plumbing... found some issues that I will fix tomorrow. The Bunny mounted her 70's style wall chock and another one of her surf signs.

Installed the flooring today... used Allure-Traffic Master. Each box has 24 sq ft, and each section is 36" long X 6" wide. All you need to install is a measuring tape, untility knife, straight edge, and sone shears. I used all 5 boxes for a total of 120 sq. ft.

Wow its really coming together now. The floor looks great. Are you planning to put doors on the kitchen cabinets or leave them open?

Yes... I plan to make doors, hopefully next week. The objective was to get the big five tasks completed before our trip to Feather Falls this coming weekend. The Fridge, oven, water system, queen island bed, and propane are all "good to go". So, installing the floor is a bonus. Once I finish the trim around the floor, I plan to install shelves in the pantry and storage areas.

PS on you profile you have a photo of one of your Airstreams...the 58? Nice looking trailer, can you post some interior photos?

Trex,
Great looking floor! Don't let anyone do a Big Lubowski on it.
Was at Lowes (needed a new biscuit joiner) today, saw they had diamond plate outlet and switch plate covers. Match your cabinete floor.

I am looking for this knob, (see photos), for the original overhead lights in my 72/31, I am missing one. If you have any...and plan not to use. I would like to take any or all off your hands.

The Bunny won't let me have diamond plate light switch covers....
Just now, she said "its a surf trailer, not a car hauler/race trailer." That is the other reason I need to finish the doors for the cabinets...

Wow! It's really coming along! I'm trying to see what's in the middle of the trailer... is there more seating/beds back there, or is it all counter and then the bathroom? Love the different woods... nice work! What's going to cap off the bedframe "storage" compartment?

The wood panels are all birch 1/4" plywood, the cabinet frame and the sofa frame are Red birch cut down to 1 1/2" sticks, the face plate for the sofa is "Seagrass" wallpaper on 3/4" plywood, and the floor is Allure traffic master "bamboo." The Red birch and the "dark bamboo" floor are very close in color...which is a nice surprise!

Between the fridge and the storage area, (next to the bath), I plan to bulid a simple hinged bench seat, with a fold-up table in front of the seating area. So with the hinge section down, there will be "diner" seating for four. With the hinge section up, and the table removed, there will be a double bed, approx. 40" wide and 6'5" long.

Plus, there will be a food pantry, with a built-in microwave next to the fridge. I don't have a floor plan, so I can't post that....I just build, and have visions pop into my head at nite...

Working on baseboard trim today….using this flexible PVC quarter round produce from The Home Depot. I need to paint first before I install it, using same color as walls so I can chalk gaps between the wall and trim. I will post photos in the PM.

I think you're talking about the sofa/hid-da-queen bed? The storage on each side of the sofa is approx 9" wide x 30" long with a "lid" under the foam arm rest. I have a photo of what we want the sofa to look like after we have the upholster complete the cushions...this photo was copied off internet.

Not really happy with the baseboard install.... but will live with "it" over the weekend, because we are going to Feather Falls Casino KOA for the Superbowl. Its been a year since we have gone to Feather Falls, during that time, they have added a new brew pub.

ALso Aaron Rodgers (QB for Green Bay), is from Chico and went to JC at Butte College. So, I think the party is going to be much bigger that last year's.

On another note, I do like the new shelving that I installed yesterday. I will post photos sometime today... and hopefully the baseboards will "grow on me".

Today I built a “Man Box” for my tools… its located just to the right of the sink. It has a top-side hatch door on the inside and an outside hatch door between the wheel well and the battery access door. I am also including photo of the baseboard trim.

Trex,
Looks like you are about ready to hit the road. That diamond plate really looks good.

Hope you have a good, safe weekend trip.
