Yep, looks like a lot of work.
Must be a labor-of-love-in-progress.
Have fun!

How many people died in that wreck?
Seriously, you've got your work cut out for you--a lot of it. Good luck resurrecting it, and post lot of photos of your progress.

In our first Airstream we found a Hippo alphabet card, an old green pen, one harvest gold glass pepper/salt shaker, and a name tag for an Airstream resort in Florida. I shouldn't forget the half chewed rubber cement tube, lots of fish hooks and part of Marcia Brady's red corduroy jumper that was all stuffed in mice nests behind the tub. No money but a bit of stuff to discover that brings some light moments to the situation.
Good luck on your project.

Man, that looks strangely familiar... Best of luck to you with it. I've really enjoyed/hated every minute of my refurb.
And I found what I believe to me the mouse chewed foot of Jimmy Hoffa in the belly pan of mine when I removed it. Just can't figure out why only the foot...

Most would look at these photos and think, 'Disaster'. We, the chosen (touched?) vintage Airstreaming few look at them and think, 'What fun!'. Congrats and look forward to following your thread, if for no other reason than to find out why the spice rack exploded

I love it looks like you had one hell of a party! Looks kinda like the first time my then girlfriend now wife of 36 years cleaned my house! Do you suffer from rivet finger or elbow? Oh you will! The cure brand new drill bits and some (hopefully legal) substance that makes it so you can't feel you fingers or care about it! Why you ask? Because you only have a million more to remove and then oh joy of joys you get to replace them all! Fibro myass you will need more of the substance. Post some more pictures so we all know that we were not the only ones mumbling something about spinning freaking rivets!
Enjoy cliff
