It may be close to our 1974 29', which is maybe:

black 20 / grey 10 / fresh 25

If we remember right. That's a start.

Depends

also on whether it is an International or not. International's for instance had 50 gallon fresh water tanks, not 25.
Having the gray tank probably accounts for the shrinkage in fresh water for the 74's
I have a service manual and owners manual from 72 that is at the trailer if you need more info, I will check the water capacities the next time I go (which may be tomorrow).

Not in 1974.

Mike would know....he is the one carrying the plastic jugs. Not me.

Just under 5 X 6 gallons, counting for the slopping, that's about 25.

I think that 1972 had optional grey water tanks, so in 72, some had 25 & some had 50.

The full proof method if you don't have the book: carry those water jugs !!

Pick was asking about a 72 under the forums by specific year. I was trying to answer it based on that. My 72 29' has a 50 gallon fresh water tank. In the service manual the 29' and the 31' were grouped together in terms of water system diagrams and specs and the differences were in the trim levels.
I am sure you are right about your 74 and the 25 gallons.
Gray tanks were not optional in 72, but were in 73, standard in 74.
Pick,
I will double check the black tank capacity for the 72's and the land yacht's fresh water capacity tomorrow hopefully.

Thanks Dave-O

Yes, mine is an International. It takes quite a while to fill the fresh tank, so it may be 50. I do not have a grey tank, but I do have a 22 gallon Blue Tank. Wife complains it fills up to fast, glad I don't have a 10 gallon grey tank, that would be just about useless for us.
