I found an earlier thread, questions having to do with the Bicentennial Norman Rockwell coach, but like me this individual did not get a reply either.
And I thought it was cause no body liked me
......of course that is still a possiblity, I, after all, did suggest using muratic acid as a metal prep as a substitute to more expensive gels and did get some strong words in opposition to that idea
. I spoke out of turn.
Ok so back to the wieght thing.
I am assuming that the special edition means that more went into the suspension and other issues having to do with more weight in some airsteams (or not ?).
A pile of 3/4 inch oak wieghs a lot more than 3/16 (light wieght ply) and the solid 3/4 inch wood even more than that. It's installed throughout and solid surface counters adds substantially too does it not ?
Are brand new coaches made with solid wood and 3/4 ply. Does airstream use different suspension today ?
Is there anybody out there with one ?
