Help with identifying this Excella please

I think I can make out Excella 1000 on the back badge, but I have not idea what length or packages it may have. I'm not even sure of the year. Are there any gurus out there that might be able to give me any info on this unit from these exterior pics. Any general info on the Excella would be great for this newbee as well.

I'm going to take a look at it this week and wonder what this sweetheart might retail for.

It looks like a 31 ft. Late 80's or early 90's.

If it's 8'-4 wide, it could be a '96 or '
97

I can't say for sure, but to my eye, it looks like a wide body. I believe this would make it a '94 or newer. See what others think.

When you go look at it, copy the Serial No. off the nameplate and go to the Airstream Website and you can find a way to deciper it. Then you'll know all about the unit. The nameplate is on the road-side near the front, and down low on that side.

The wide bodies came out in '96. I know because I have a '97 Excella 25.

1996 - 2001ish 30 footer with dinette and twin beds

From the length and curb side window and storage compartment door setup, I am pretty sure that this is a 30' with dinette and twin beds. The fact that is is a wide body (confirmed by the visual width and square cornered rear storage compartment), suggests that indeed it is 1996 or newer. I think they stopped using the "Excella" name around 2002 or so, so that would bound the possible years to 1996 through about 2001 (or so). Excella 1000 was an uplevel trim package on the basic Excella that I beleive was available during this entire span of years, so that does not narrow it down any further.

My vote is for a 1997. It looks just like ours from the blue stripe, rear locker door, taillights, etc.
