Portable Nature Power 120 V Briefcase model for 85 Excella

I have a 32 ft Excella mfg in 1985. I have never used solar. I purchased a Nature Power 120 V in two panels briefcase set up. I am going to edit to add all photos showing relevant data, and explain my questions/issues.

I have a 1985 32 ft Excella. I purchased a 120 v Nature Power Briefcase (portable)Solar unit. I have this past year learned a lot about battery maintenance and now use a battery charger/maintainer and multi meter to check and maintain my flooded cell batteries both deep cycle RV 12 V and 12 V mower and truck batteries. But I am new to solar and afraid I am going to fry something. So I am doing over kill on research before I connect.
I assume I hook the leads from the solar panel to the one battery and it will charge them both. Do I need to turn my master or ‘kill” switch off? Is the unit equipped with a fail safe to avoid damage if I do something wrong? Doesn’t seem to be complicated? Am I making it too complicated. If I violated the posting rules then have the admin delete it and I will go to rehab to learn how to edit an original post. I seem to get kicked off before I can put a post together.

You hook one up to the positive battery term on one battery and the other to the negaive battery terminal on the other.

Nothing else to do. Dave

Since I have two 12 V deep cell house batteries in parallel will the solar panel charge both at the same time? And my second question: do I need to disable to kill or master switch before starting to charge? Can I connect my F2 50 diesel with two 12 V batteries to the trailer using the standard hook up and use both the solar panel as well as truck batteries of my diesel engine running and charge the two house batteries? In other words two separate charging systems going at the same time?
