Katie posted the pretty stuff, but I thought I would show some behind the scenes shots. You can see where I connected the drain and the supply. I went from blue poly to pex. The original connection had a faucet connection since it is a counter top model. She ordered it online for about 265.00. It is sold online under many different names. I also added a seperate new circuit for the micro and dishwasher. Now the crazy switch AS installed over the range doesn't have to be switched to choose between the micro or AC because it's on its own. Then I moved up the face frame to make the dishwasher appear built in. I used my Kreg pocket jig to remount the frame and make it appear flush and new. I cut down the shelf in the back and moved it forward to top off the micro and to give us a little storage on top. Both appliances' foot pegs are nestled in small holes to keep them trapped in place.

We had a big day today. We fished a lot of wires! We put in led puck lights and one of the fantastic fans. We are all set to put in the other fantastic fan, but after making the cutout and fishing the wires we decided to leave it out to finish fishing wires for the antenna install and the tv placement in the front and the back. We finalized the design for the extra long sofa down the street side, too. We bought more 3-form for the sliding doors for all the storage under beds and sofa too. We love 3-form. (You can see it at 3-form.com. It's an architectural resin product Airstream uses for sliding doors in many new trailers. We are using "structured bamboo" in the living room.)

Fantastic fans are in and so is the new "Jack" antenna and all new cables are in. The LED recessed puck down lights are in and the ceiling suddenly looks a whole lot newer!

Ok so Katie posted the pretty stuff again first so I thought I would post some of the before pictures. Some of the photos are garbage bag over vent. The reason the garbage bag was on the vent. Inside of the old vent. My handy Harbor Freight chisel I use for rivet removal. I know you woodworking craftsman are shifting in your seat, but I left the set I respect and use properly in my tool box. I cut open the existing vent openings and drilled for the lights. I pulled the wires and new rg6 for the antenna then I installed new fans, a Jack antenna, four puck lights and a new bathroom fan.

I replaced the radio today and I found a 1982 cassette from Jack Jones under it. Darn, I need a player!😄 I installed a new Pioneer with Bluetooth and new speakers. It sounds great and we love it. Also, I put in a new door bell. The old one was melted. You can see them both in the picture. I took down the monitor panel and I'm putting in new bulbs. Click image for larger version

That old 80's cassette deck was top of the line.
Full logic controls.
Soft eject.
That was top shelf in the day.

I replaced our stereo too with the same Sony unit they put in the new Airstreams- and we activated the Sirius XM. I did not get to find any cool old cassettes'!

Fine work as always. The recessed LED puck lights look great! Where did you get them?

Thanks for the primer on caulking. This is a great way seal up the Airstream before having to look for leaks that somehow did not get sealed. I am putting this on my to do list.

I kind of grew up in an interesting time as far as playing back music. I came in right at the tail end of vinyl records and only bought a couple. My first car had in dash am only with an 8 track under the dash. My next car had cassette deck and subsequent cars cd players so I've been through them all. Now it's digital storage and I really like the quality and ease of use. This latest pioneer didn't have a cd player, it's very light and not much to it. I love the Bluetooth features now so we are looking forward to using this one.

I got the puck lights from led4rv.com. I heard good things about them and so I tried them and their products. My order was shipped the same day and they sell the same products Airstream puts in theirs so I'm satisfied. I shopped around and just could not find a comparable puck light with the combination of lumens and good quality. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. I have another order in with them now and I got the tracking number 30 minutes after I placed the order. Satisfied

I still have over 1,000 LP records and the ability to listen to them.
I still have over 1,000 CD's and the ability to listen to them.
But I don't listen to them.
Through the 8-track and cassette tape years I always thought LP records had superior sound quality, so I skipped the 8-tracks and recorded my own cassettes from my LP's to play in the car or my Sony Walkman (the best sounding tape player I have ever heard).
I held off on buying CD's until they quit making LP's.
I have loaded many of my CD's into iTunes and synched them to my iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
That's what I listen to, or SiriusXM...
So, in my trailer I listen to MP3's Bluetoothed through the stereo...

I still have 300-400 albums and a dedicated stereo with turntable to listen to them. I am addicted to Pandora and Spotify though....

I remember buying my first 4 CD's at the local Walmart once I made the switch and got a car CD player in 1987.
1. Alan Parsons - Eye in the Sky
2. Def Leppard - Hysteria
3. Poison - Look What the Cat Dragged In
4. Prince - 1999
I still have them (and 1000 others) and they still play.
My first LP was in my Easter basket when I was 11 in 1980 - Ace Frehley's solo album. I have since accumulated another 1000 or so.
My sound system is a mix of old and new - a 5.1 surround sound receiver with a phono input for my turntable that I got for Christmas in the 10th grade in about 1984 and a Blu-ray player I got in 2013.
