mystery length in 1985

I have been doing alot of surfing to find a door handle assemble for my 85 Excella and have noticed that there is a 32' and 31' coach in that year. mine is suposidly a 31' but some are selling 32'ers is this right and why did airstream do that? and what exactly would be the differances?

funny thing, nothing about airstream, but i have a mountianere trailer that it says that it is a 31.5 , got to looking at it one day and got the tape out. found out it is 35ft bumper to hitch outside, 32ft end to end on the box outside, 31.5 in side of box end to end???
