Mystery Switch

I just recently picked up a 1982 Airstream Excella 31' center bath/twin and need help identifying the switch street side-front in the picture. Anyone know?

Might be the switch that turns off your converter, disconnects it from power. Flip it and see if you can hear the hum of the converter.

Well the mystery switch doesn't seem to effect the converter. Could it be the switch for the up lighting behind the curtain valances?

Is it factory or user installed? I suspect the latter and if so - given its location - I wonder if it either turns those speakers on or controls the outlet underneath it.

That is a 12 volt switch.... used for years and years!
With that being said it is a factory switch not necessarily installed by the factory!

I have the same switch on my '85. It is connected to a fluorescent fixture almost directly above it (behind the hardwood curtain header). It took several tries to figure it out as the light is very dim and could only be seen at night.

That's what I figured it would be for. Thanks!

Well I got the time to investigate the switch and see why the lights weren't working. Pulled the switch and reattached the black wires to it and blam-o!!
