my 1982 Excella
hello one and all, i just found this site while trying to find parts for my airstream 1982 excella. we have had it for about 7 yrs now and have been replacing worn-out parts ever since. thus far we have replaced the toilet, the a/c, the hot water heater and furnance, all three awanings and all four tires/rims. belive it or not, when we got the camper it had mobile home tires on it! got a good deal on proper tires and rims. the camper did not have anykind of spare tire holder so i got one made and attached to the main frame behind the rear bumper. this is the best location for one. a trailer weldier made a post that comes up past the bumper and slightly above it so as not to interfer with the opening of the bumper.but where would one put a generator?just recently (xmas time) the door latch busted and there was no other keeler-brass to match it, so factory sent replacement and it worked but dont look good! so now i am trying to find a door without going to the factory and also looking to replace the bathroom sink. any ideas?
