Excella v. Limited?

Hi folks,
We are the new happy owners of a 1982 34 foot Limited. I understand the
Limited was an extension somehow of the Excella line. Is that true? I've posted on the Limited boards here but the discussion there is, well, limited, maybe because there were a limited number if these trailers.

We are going to have to do some work in ours so I certainly would like to find an appropriate group to learn with, I'm hoping this thread might be the place.

Thanks!

That's great - I'm ignorant to the facts you seek but a warm welcome to you!

Pics soon of course appreciated.

Love those 34's - good luck!

The Limited models usually just had different fabrics, for example, and possibly red awnings instead of blue. They may have also had a few extra minor features, like the valance lights above the windows, when the Excella didn't. They aren't major differences.

Thanks PharmGeek

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm looking forward to reading more in this thread. I'm just a little unclear about which model our Limited is most closely related to. Maybe others here will know some more about the history.

A Limited was always an Excella, but an Excella may not be a Limited.

Ah, yes, I see, thanks. I don't know the Excella line very well yet either, but this is a very helpful start. Now I'll spend a lot more time reading about your experiences.

Tomorrow I'm hoping to get some good Before pics that I can upload here, complete with the film of dust on and inside the trailer. Then, after we wash her, I'll post some of those too. Where we are, I can't get the wax I wanted to use so we'll have to find the next best kind. In order to leave her for six months outside, she will definitely need it.
