Bathroom counter repair

I have a rear bathroom counter complete crack through, trying to add photo.
My intention was to repair it with fiberglass and repaint whole bathroom.

My wife who does not know a lot of mechanical things said, won't it just split again, because what ever did it was very powerful. Mabe it needs that relief point. Don't tell me my wife is right, my that's hard to say,LOL.

What do I do?

Well the trailer is 30 plus years old and the plastic (probably ABS) is pretty brittle so it could have been something heavy place on the counter or even someone heavy leaning on it.

I'd try the repair. You have the right plan so why not?

I'd repair it and paint it with the POR15 white coat 2part epoxy.I know on mine the piece of plywood that was glued underneath for support had come unglued and offered no support.I know a forum member named Top repaired his and had a local paint shop take care of the paint duties.
You may also have other issues that may have caused this.
