So I made my decision and I'm just gonna tow myself. Slowly, methodically, with a pre planned route and with lower tire pressure. AND the handy toolbox with the many needed tools just in case. Today did it for me when I saw a rollback driving with a shipping container go over a few potholes and saw AND heard the jarring going on. No matter how careful you tell the driver to drive you can't determine what he is going to drive over. So thats that. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Make sure the tires are at least fair and tow it.

A hundred miles of careful towing are not going to matter. Stay off the interstate and on two lane roads without the concrete seams and and don't get in a hurry.

Look around on the forums at the stuff folks have towed without even knowing there was damage.

Airstreams are tougher than we like to let on.

Why else would be but them?

She's coming HOME this weekend. Can't wait. Picked up brake controller, packed emergency tools including welder and backup steel just in case. We decided that the rear end can be supported from the interior with a 12' scaffolding length bolted too the walk way. The only separation of the floor is right at the rear so the sides are supported. this is easy to see since the belly pan is gone. This obviously is a band aid fix but should be good for the 95 mile trip home. Will have a chase car but hardly a chase at the speed we are planning on. So i'll take lots of pic of our shoring of the rear floor plus getting her out. Wish us luck!

Another option to help that sagging floor/chassis is to run a couple of ratchet straps through the rear window & underneath the chassis/floor & up through a couple of holes you cut in the floor & connect the ends of the straps together. I used a hole saw to do this on several occasions & the straps tied the body to the frame. Obviously it's a temp solution but it has worked really well for me. Don't drop the pressure of the tires either as it will cause them to overheat & blow.
Stop regularly & check everything, you'll be fine.
Good luck,
Colin

She's coming home. Taping up loose stuff. Girlfriend getting brake controller installed. Have to remove rear bumper as its held by rusted wires. A lot of securing needed to be done to get her limping home. Is an exciting day though

Did you make it home safely? Looks road worthy from a distance...

So yes we did make it home safely. She towed like a dream. Well. Until we unhitched and opened her up. A couple of bulkhead cabinets shook loose and plastic broke off but we didn't kill anyone and she is happy. Sorry I don't have better pictures but this is her current resting spot next to her sister that's a 1972 ambassador 29' and half a mile away from her extended family of newborns. She is home and as I said before is gonna need a change of clothes. Thanks everyone for their suggestions and support. Now the fun begins!!!!

I'll have to talk to him. They probably don't have parts for me but weights and balances from an expert would be good to take advantage of.
