Help! Newbie! Electrical Issues!

Hi! Newbie here. I have an 1977 Excella 500 that I am trying to work on. I am completely new to rv-ing and airstreams seem like a foreign language. I plugged my airstream in to power yesterday and the only thing that is working is the AC. No lights. No outlets. Am I missing something? Is there a step I am missing. I have the breakers all turned on in the rear. There is a fuse box in the very front but not sure what any of that even is. ANY help is appreciated and please excuse my lack of knowledge. Thanks

Almost everything in Airstreams works from 12 volts. Three or more things could be causing your problem.
1. On/store switch in the store position. Look for a rotary switch with a lever. It may be marked on/off or use/store, or something like that. It should be in the on position. That switch kills all 12V power to the trailer.
2. Bad, discharged or missing battery, and/or
3. Bad or missing converter/charger. This box provides 12volts when connected to AC to operate 12v stuff and charge batteries.

I don't know anything about the specifics of your trailer, so if these general suggestions don't help maybe someone who has one like yours will chime in.

Read your post more carefully. If outlets are not working there could be bad fuses/breakers that are not sending power to the converter. The fuse box in the front is probably the DC distribution panel. The converter is probably nearby. It may be plugged into an outlet. Check to make sure it is getting AC.
