a temporary kitchen food prep table was made
new seals on some windows, but most left with old seals due to time.
We did get it washed in the driveway
only leak at this time was the rear hatch
I played with it to tighten the gap
Guessed at the hitch setup.
Took the trip.
4 hrs to our first stop
4 more into Doswell
Towed great.
Brakes worked.
Toilet and shower
Plumbing works
all electric works
Old AC worked
so far, only 4 issues.
During a rain,
rear hatch still leaking a little bit into the channel.
had a leak from the ceiling.
It was coming through a pop rivet that was in the ceiling panel holding the maxfan trim
I think it is coming from probably the sky light and then running down the ceiling panel to the rivet. ( I never resealed around the sky light )
3rd issue was a scratch on the new floor.
I cannot figure out how it happened. However, it is in an area that will be covered by the bed.
4th, the engineered floor that I picked because it should NOT shrink or expand. Must have shrunk. it started to gap on a few of the short ends.
( 94% of the gapping is gone now that it is back in the barn )
At this point, I still have access to the ends of the boards if I take out the fresh water tank. I have silicone caulk around the parameter to fill any gap between the wall and planks.
So, I plan to run the AC for a while and get it cold, and then hammer the ends to make it tight again.
Then, I may just secure the boards in place at the far ends with a screw. And cross my fingers that it does not expand much when I turn off the AC and it warms up.
These boards should not have done this ( at least this much ) maybe they just "moved" and did not contract. ?? dont know
So, the trip was great. So glad that everything functioned.
