It is here! Well, almost here...

Woohoo!! Our Airstream is here!! Well, not here but in the port in Bremerhaven and hopefully here, no, there mid of next week... I am confused Where will he be??

No, just kidding! Our Airstream is at the port! Now! And will be flatbedded, to the airport where we gliderfly, mid of next week. It was the first time we saw the trailer. We had only pictures before and so this was a really thrilling moment for us. Unfortunatly we could not get closer to the trailer as it still sits in the customs area and it was imossible for us to get in there today.
But better o look thru the fence than to wait another 5 days.

Steffi and Bjoern

I tried to add some pics, I hope it worked. Steffi is on the pics too, but behind the camera...

Exclamation Jumping out of your Skin!

You both must be jumping out of your skin, so close now from so far away.

The best of good luck with your new Airstream.

Normaly the trailer should have been flatbedded tomorrow, but we had a bankholiday on Monday and so the Transport People are in a delay...
I feel like a little boy on Christmas, that knows that he gets what he ever wanted and then Santa walking in who says that christmas will be 5 days later

I can´t sleep, eat, drink and work for the next days....

Oh, geesh, that sure looks like a big hunk of aluminum contraband there, fellows! Better plan on it getting seized by the port authorities. They needed a new office, now didn't they? Consider it your contribution to the future of Bremerhaven (just kidding)!

It appears to have travelled well! It looks great! It also appears to have had a travel companion (that popup parked next to it).

Just watch out that you don't get little red marks on your face from pressing up against the fence!

Mary

I think he had fun on his voyage to Germany. There is a Ambassador or Sovereign from the 60´s sitting just 20m beside him. They were on the same Vessel...

Maybe we get a little Bambi in 9 months

Wow you guys must be just grinning ear to ear!

I thought you guys were pretty good pole volters! The fence did not look that high

If it were I - I would have disguised myself as the Aluminitis police and told them I was the President of WBCCI and that I had to ensure that the cargo arrived in good order and to dress Him? up before customs inspection this guy does look a little like inspector Cluso.

So glad your new addition arrived safely - I must have missed your post saying you got one - where did he? come from??

People start starring at me because I AM grinning from ear to ear the whole day!! We probably would have managed to get behind the fence, but the place where you get the visitor passports was so overcrowded with truckers who had to deliver or pick-up that we decided not to ask... There was a line of 20 mad and angry truckers, that already waited for upto 7 hours, ao no good idea, I guess

We got it over the forum, one Member (Richardt) mailed me after he saw that we are looking for one an deverything went really fast and uncomplicated and now he is here, well there...

Without this forum we would probably never have found one so quick...

Thanks to all off you for giving support and for typing you knowledge into this huge knowledge base!!

I think now the game really starts!!!!!

Thanks

Bjoern and Steffi
