1972 Ambassador

Hi, I just purchased what was advertised as a 1972 Ambassador 32' trailer. I can only find 29' Ambassador in the Airstream catalog. Did they make 32' long?

And enjoy the forums. I belive the 32' was the Soverign of the Road. 25 was Tradewind, 27 Overlander, and 29 Ambassador. I bought a 72 trailer (build date) that turned out to be a 1973. I love my TW. Good luck with yours and share some pics when you can. MPJ

Hi aharoni. We also have a '72 Ambassador, and were also told by the seller it was a 31' Sovereign when we bought it. Measure from the rear bumper to the tip of the tongue. If the nameplate by the door says "Ambassador", the measurement will be 29' and a few inches. Good luck, and if you can, post some pics!

So I picked up the trailer and measured it. It is 29'...oh well still a good deal for $2k
