1977 Overlander

we have a 1977 overlander that we got in March,we have been working hard at cleaning it and fixing what we can.We took it yesterday for its first outing since it was brough home, now it has a knew Refrigerators I sure would have liked to keep the old one but two many problems. I will try to post a picture as soon as I learn how. We have a name picked out but will have to wait for it to get a shine on it for it to fit its name. Thanks for all the help out their.

It looks lovely, Sarah! You've done a wonderful job of cleaning it up.

Will you be showing us photos of the interior next?

A very fine 77! I don't see any clearcoat peeling or oxidation in the photo. Sure you want to polish?

With the condition of your clearcoat, I wouldn't polish it. I polished my former 67 and the clearcoat on my 77 isn't bad enough for me to do that again. It is an obsession to make a shiny trailer. It is hard to find someone that would be willing to do it a second time. It made me realize that is really wasn't worth the hours of labor. Granted, I have young kids and no where enough time in a day asis.

The clear coat is nice on this side but has signs of wear on the other side.We have other issue to address before we get to the polish.Just needed to get it where we could camp if we had to run from any bad weather this year in south La. you just never know.
