Zip Dee awning

I have been looking for awnings for my 1969 Overlander. Does anybody have insight on where one might find used awnings. I can order new ones from the company, but it's well over $3000 to get the main and bathroom awning.

I don't know who quoted you those prices, but they are way off.

According to Zip Dee's price list a 17 foot awning for the curb side costs $1758.00 with bright hardware.

The rear window awning, complete, costs $356.00.

If you wish to add a center support, for the curb side awning, which is adviseable, that costs $112.00.

Freight is always collect, unless a factory pickup is made.

Without the center support, that's about $900.00 less than you were quoted.

It could be the purveyor was quoting labor, as well, which is still a stretch.

I would say if someone was going to charge that much for installation, they certain don't have a clue how to do it.
