1969 Airstream International

In the process of renovating my airstream I have forgotten what goes on the end of the couch/bed which sits in the front of the trailer. So there is an open space there now and I can't figure out an easy way to put the table or shelf that was there back. Does anyone have a picture of what goes there or informatoin which I can use to make this useful again?
This area is on the drivers side of the trailer which is in front of the sink and liquor cabinet.
Thank you

Not sure if it's the same as what you're looking for, but our 66 trotter had a cushion on one side and a table on the other. Here are pics.

THANKS I guess I need a cushion to go on the side. I thought there was a table there. Our trailers are similar.

I have a 66 Overlander very much the same too. You ought to join our Georgia Airtsream Campers group here in the Forums. There are quite a few Airforums member not far from you all.

When you unfold the table, does it stay hooked to the wall on one side? About how far above your couch does it end up? And does it unfold all the way to the end of the couch?

Has anyone posted the dimensions or plans for fabricating one of these tables?

Our 62 Tradewind came with 2 removable arms on the couch, the same fold out counter thing off the oven, but no table. We are trying to figure out an authentic-looking way to recreate a table.

Saw this option online -- but afraid it would be too tall and would also look out of place.

Worldwide Merchandise Company - Folding Coffee Table - Oak - Tables - Camping World

Anyone ideas or alternative examples?

Yes, it stayed attached on one side. Here's a picture:

It actually unfolded in two sections. You could make it short or long. Can't tell you the actual height since our trailer is currently gutted. It was about what you'd have with a typical dinette setup though.
