Reattach skin

We were coming home to Wisconsin from a month in Florida & Georgia and I noticed that one of the panels attaching the side skin to the belly pan had come loose. After closer inspection it would appear that this is not the first time this panel had done this. Before I start pop riveting it back in place, can y'all suggest a better repair? (please don't say skin off cause it ain't gonna happen at this point in my life)

Looks like the rivet heads are still on the aluminum, so are they pulling out of the frame by the shank? What does the frame look like where this piece attaches? You may just need to size up your rivets, maybe install a few extras in new holes. But this might be a symptom of your frame rusting. Need to get under there and look at the frame.

Thanks for the tip. I did take a look and it hasn't pulled away from the frame. Just from the belly pan. Frame appears to be fine.

as Lumatic said use wide rivits.
These can be installed with a regular pop rivet gun. I carry a few in the tool box for emergencies. Available at Vintage Trailer supply and other places.

this is common when the skin shakes and rattles down the road. You can use those wide rivets and add some washer to them if you like.. A bead of sealant at the seam is good too.
While you have it open you might ( if you have not yet) wire brush and rustproof the frame.
