i just got a 1966 overlander 26' travel trailer that i paid $450.00
for it the interior is in good shape the floor is solid it is missing the door in the back for the compartment. the gas lines have been cut and also the waterlins the toilet has been rippeted out also. did i pay too much for it?

You just about got it for free!

I'll take all you can get at that price! My neighbor has one of those, but I think it's a 67. Won't sell it no how, no way. Has not moved in 15 years. Can you tell the year from the serial number? You can expect to put several $grand into it, but in the end it will be well worth it. Welcome to the group! You've come to the right place!

deepseeded guilt

It sounds to me as if you are feeling way to guilty after stealing that unit. In order to assuage these feelings I would be happy to take it off your sullied hands for say...$450.00!

Bad investment.
For just a few dollars more, you could have bought a brand new Door lock assembly.

Such A deal!

Just ONE of your curved glass Original Corning windows is worth
over $700.00 on the replacement market!

Gotta love those farmers that don't have internet access!

Congradulations on your new friend!

So what ever became of this project?
And Striker it has been almost a year since your last post, whazzup?

If I had one dime for everything that is left hanging on these forums I'd have alot more time to worry about it.

And furthermore I'm ............

I notice that the unit has a single Belt-line and I think it says International.
