Window rough opening

I have a 69 Overlander and am working to replace one of the wing windows. The previous owner replaced it with an aftermarket window requiring cutting the rough opening larger. I have found an original window, but obviously is smaller. Is there anyway to weld the rough opening to allow for a better fit?
