Window Rock Guards

Can anyone tell me what material Airstream uses to make their front window rock guards from. Is it lexan? If so I have a hole in the road side rock guard and want to use another piece of lexan to fix it. Any suggestions

It's said to be Lexan, but if a rock could penetrate it I have my doubt as Lexan is supposed to bullet proof from smaller caliber bullets like a .32 or .380 caliber fired at close range.

I have no idea what plastic is used, but I do know as a fact that it is NOT Lexan.

Lexan would not crack like many owners have experienced , with their Rockguards.

Call Airstream and see if they will tell you.

Not if the Lexan is only 1/8" to 3/16" thick.

Thickness applies to any use of a material. If it don't work why use it!
