What tint to use??

Anyone have thoughts on a good silver mirror tint?
I was looking at this page: Privacy Window Film & One Way Mirror Security Films: Home & Office Reflective Film - Concord Window Films
To get some ideas, but what's TOO dark? I was thinking about getting a very dark tint.

I installed the silver reflective tint last year on my 1979 sovereign. I used the 35% tint and it is not too dark inside. It has really helped to keep the interior cooler when in direct sunlight and also adds privacy when the curtains are open during the day, does not give any additional privacy at night when the interior light are on. I removed all of the windows except the fixed position ones to install the film. It only took one afternoon to do all the windows. I am very happy with the results and would recommend Concord Window Films as the product to use.

Eric, I used Architectural (commercial) tint, not Automotive, from a supplier on EBAY. Much cheaper, and better quality than automotive, plus it came on 36 inch wide rolls.
85% silver matches the exterior exactly. Almost can't see the windows!
It's not too dark inside, either.

You con order samples from Concord. The prices range from 0.25 to 0.65 per sample. This would give you something to base your choice on. What is too dark in someones opinion could be too light in someone elses.

The factory tint on my trailer is around 25%. I've also had 25% tint some of the windows in my old stick house.

To some extent, what is too dark and too light is a matter of taste. However, 25% is about right to provide some control of direct sunlight and a degree of privacy, while still keeping the interior reasonably well lit during the daytime. 10% would be dark enough that you might want to run the interior lights on cloudy days.

When I bought solar film for my trailer, they had three shades . . . dark, darker, and where's the door? I used darker everywhere except the bathroom. There I used where's the door?
