Hey Gang,
1968 Tradewind.
I replaced glass, and all weatherstripping. I also caulked around the upper part of the window near the hinge.
I am getting pools of water collecting (granted heavy rains but still) in the track of the lower windows, both curb and street side.
It's alarming to think they are filling up so much, and then where the rest of the water goes...
I am including some pictures. Ive tried a lot of little things like filling old glazing from the window, all new weather stripping around windows that open, and even caulked around the ends of the hinges. I'm out of ideas on what to try caulking. I do store it on vacant land, therefor I have not tried holding a hose to it to find the source. It's not obvious in a rain storm, I know that much. I'm afraid of over caulking and hindgering the type 3 hinge which I have read some problems on caulk impacting the hinge function.
Must be something general I'm missing to have the problem on both sides of the trailer.
Thanks
Marek
