Replacing Glass - Need help

We have a 2014 International 30 footer. We left a window unlatched and apparently the wind caught it going down the road, twisted it, and it shattered and is gone. Boo Hoo. The nearest Airstream dealer wants $635 just to ship me the glass.

The window is the middle of the three large windows on the front street side. The window next to it to the rear is identical. A local glass shop says they can make me a new window (for a whole lot less $), but I need to remove the identical one and bring it to their shop.

At the top of the window is an open hinge mechansim that is both glued and bolted to the glass. The hinge is not attached to the trailer, it just curves over a rail and looks like it should just lift off. But no go.

My question is how do I remove the glass, do I lift the glass as high as it will go and lift, or is there some other method? Thanks, any advice would be appreciated.

Make certain he's an "auto glass" dealer and makes it out of tempered glass.
