Reinstalling Windows

Is there are trick for reinstalling windows after they have been removed and new D gaskets have been put on? They seem to get hung up in the top slot.

The 2 "J" hinges must be perfectly engaged.

Sometimes it takes 2 people to help that to happen, especially on the front and rear windows.

I try to use the CD that came with the computer.

Oh, not those Windows...
When you rotate the hinge upward, smack the center of the hinge with a rubber mallet, that should pop it into position.

I messed with the first one for quite a while. Got a helper and messed with it more. Finally got it. The rest I just dropped in first try by myself. Except the back one. That I needed a helper and a long 2x4 added to the center for another set of hands. We had to bend that whole window to get it in. Scared the crap outa me.

In the overall picture, installing the windows wasn't a big deal. There is a knack to it.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
