Oceanair shades

We have a 2010 International 28'. The bottom portion of the Oceanair shade on several of the windows is constantly coming loose from the rigid metal pull-down apparatus. It appears that the insert is a tad too thin in order to create a secure attachment to the pull-down apparatus. Anyone else having this problem? Looking for a permanent solution!

Not a huge fan of these shades. IF you don't roll them ABSOLUTELY straight the edges fray almost immediately. I've also had the backing separate -- which AS replaced free during a visit to JC. These shades are very expensive, but I'm thinking that they are probably not going to wear all that well. So far I haven't had this particular problem, but I'll be looking for it.

We just changed from blinds to these shade in our bedroom area. The blinds did not keep out the light. Shades are better and I hope we don;t end up having trouble. We purchased them from the retail importer. Yes, expensive.

32" blackout roller blinds from IKEA @$24 each
Is what I went with, called TUPPLUR. 7 of them
Under $200. I really wanted the Oceanaire's but budget would allow.
