I'm camping in my '68 GT AS and closed the door. The knob turns on its' axis and does not engage the bolt. Short of cutting the knob off, how can I open the door? Kevin
Try pushing in on the nob, hard, as you turn it. I had a similar problem in my 66 and that got the door open. Then fix/change the lock.

I have had some luck entering through one of the cargo hatches, depending on size and location. In my case I was able to push the bed out from the underside and get in. Of course I was smaller then also

Be careful with that L-100 lock, discontinued and getting harder and harder to find. If you have some access doors and personally can't get in, find a good elementary kid that can use a screw driver, get him/her inside and have them remove the screws to take the inside handle off.
