Junk in between windows

I have a 1976 25 Caravanner that PO did a nice job keeping it in shape. However the windows on the top have junk in between the panes looks like film that dried out and is peeling off. Has anyone figure how to clean them.
Thanks in advance
Rich

Greetings. Welcome to the Forum.

Do a search for threads about Vista View windows. Peeling film, condensation and leaks are a common problem with many different options for repair.
Many seem to favor breaking out the inner pane and cleaning and sealing the outer glass.

Good Luck,
Tom

Junk in between windows

If your '76 is anything like my '74, you have an aluminum snap ring around the inside of the window, holding the glass in. Airstream made several different styles of Vista View and Stack window assemblies. Hopefully you have the same ones I do, as they are easily rebuildable. I wrote up a pretty thorough procedure with pictures and all... Let me know if this is the style you have, and if I can be of any help...

Thanks! Just what I need. I'll be picking up the AS in about a month to bring down to Key Largo and now I have the perfect excuse to stay longer
