How to tighten window handle knobs on newer Airstream

Some of the nobs on the ends of the handles that raise and lower the windows on our 2011 Airstream are loose and I'd like to tighten them. Prior to examining them closely I thought a hex wrench of one size or another would work. Not so. I've never seen this kind of fixture before. Does anyone have any idea how to tighten, or whether they can be tightened at all? (There should be a picture attached).

I see that the picture doesn't reveal the details of this fixture. The inside of the brass fixture appears to be threaded. What gives?

I just super glued mine on. Suggested by the parts girl @ Jackson Center. Worked good. Don't let the excess glue drip on the carpet. KK

There is a small hex head screw in the brass sleeve that is supposed to tighten the knob onto the window arm. However, if you tighten too much, it starts to push the sleeve out and the knob is loose again. Poor design
