Here's a photo of my center front window on our Argosy. The arrow points to the area where the glass is covered by the aluminum frame. There is a small gap between the frame and the glass which is caused by a thin layer of glazer's putty. The glazer's putty is below the level of the aluminum frame, so water can collect and stand in the gap.
So, should I caulk this area? I'm thinking I should, probably with Trempro. What do you think?
