Difficult windows

We have a 1990 excella and are finding it impossible to get the windows apart. We have watched video after video of people lightly tapping the meeting point and the two pieces easily pop apart but ours will not budge. Has anyone else had this issue???

I had trouble with my Vista Vue and had to cut the pins with a cut off wheel. There are photos in my blog post that show the pins holding the frame together. http://beahmstream.com/removing-and-...stavue-window/

Thank you for the advice. We had cut one but wanted to see if anyone else has gone this route before we continued to cut. Glad to see if worked out with putting them back together. Great blog post 👍🏻
