Deadbolt dead?

I have been rehabbing an 82 Excella and worked hard to remove the entry handle to get at the deadbolt in the handle. The PO lost all the keys and I wanted to use the deadbolt. I removed the inside skin and part of the door frame and unbolted the handle from the skin. Success!! I have had the cylinder rekeyed. But the part that contains the sliding bolt seems to have been broken either as a result of an attempted break in (partial saw cut) or during assembly. From the pictures you can see that one of the ears to attach it to the door frame has been broken off and the slide bolt has been hack-sawn. Are these available as a replacement? It is marked IVES and has a backset of about 2-1/2" Any help is appreciated. Chip
