Curved Windows Before 1960

I contacted Inland RV to help me with window replacement with my 1950 Flying Cloud. They told me Airstreams didn't come with curved window before 1960. I told them I have a 1950 Flying Cloud with a curved window and the gentleman I spoke to said, "Ok, I'm wrong, and hung up on me." Nice guy! They are so helpful there....

I believe that window would be Plexiglas and not made of glass. You should be able to make a template and DIY one for yourself. I'm sure there is a thread here somewhere on this.

you have to be specific...pictures help

Sounds like you caught Andy at the end of a bad day. He is usually as straight forward as you can get.

You must be talking about the end windows. They are curved. The side windows are flat. The curved ones came as "plexiglass"...the replacements that you have to make....repeat YOU have to make, should be out of SR Lexan. We discussed this on your other post. The side , flat, windows should be made of a tempered glass. Any glass shop will help you there. Watch the thickness.
